What Is the CrossFit Open?
The CrossFit Open is an annual worldwide event hosted by CrossFit. Over the course of three weeks, a new workout is released each week. Athletes from all over the world complete the workout at their local CrossFit gym and submit their scores online.
Each workout includes multiple divisions and scaling options, ensuring that anyone can participate—regardless of experience level, age, or physical limitations. Whether you’re brand new to CrossFit or have been training for years, there’s a version of the workout that meets you where you are.
The CrossFit Open Is Scaled for All Ability Levels
One of the biggest misconceptions about the CrossFit Open is that you need to be “in great shape” to sign up. In reality, the Open is intentionally structured to be inclusive to everyone within the CrossFit Community.
